Do you own a digital camera but don’t know exactly how to use it? Are you not totally satisfied with your vacation images and want to learn more about composition and exposure? Then the Digital Photography Weekend at Shrine Mont is for you!
Both beginners and advanced participants are welcome. After reviewing the basics of photography, the major settings of your camera like Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO, students can practice by exploring the historic village of Orkney Springs, the magnificent buildings of Shrine Mont with its colorful flora, natural beauty, inspiring architecture and interesting antiques.
After shooting, students have the opportunity to upload and edit their photographs in class (please bring a laptop or tablet), troubleshoot technical problems and train their creative eye. In the evening you can join us for refreshments and travel stories, or do some night photography (very popular).
