This cottage was aquired from the Portlock family in the late 2004. The Portlocks owned the Orkney Springs Hotel before selling it to Shrine Mont in 1979.

Portlock is a one level cottage with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and a large sitting room with a gas log fireplace. There is a glass enclosed porch surrounding two sides of the house. The cottage is located northeast of the Maryland House next to the pond.
