Summer Camp for Grownups
July 13, 2019 - July 16, 2019
Why should kids have all the fun?
Summer Camp for grownups provides a camp-style experience for folks who have “matured” a bit, yet still enjoy the recreation and reflection that Shrine Mont provides. We combine a spiritual dynamic that is directed towards an adult audience with plenty of opportunity for fun and fellowship.
And we have a great time!
This year’s program is entitled is : “Mindfulness: Spirituality in a pluralistic age” and will be led by the Rev. Mark Cooper. Mark is a Lutheran Pastor, author and Summer Camp for Grownups veteran. For more information about Mark visit his website by clicking here.
Summer Camp will start with check in at 4:00 pm on Saturday July 14 followed by supper at 5:30 pm. We end on with a closing Eucharist on Tuesday morning July 16 and then a final lunch at 12:30. All meals will be provided throughout camp.
Each day’s schedule will be a mix of programming and activities for all to enjoy.
- Bonfire and cookout
- Coffee House and Talent Show
- Trips to Bryce Resort for golf and zip line*
- Wine tasting and a winery tour*
- Hikes to Seven Springs and the Cross
