Stidley Cottage

Stidley Cottage is a quaint country home with four bedrooms and 2 ½ baths and sleeps up to twelve. There is a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. The common area has a gas fireplace.

Stidley was built in the late nineteenth century and occupied for many years by Tilden and Minnie Hepner Stidley. Both were Orkney Springs natives born shortly after the end of the Civil War. They raised their family of seven children in this house. Tilden Stidley was often employed at the Orkney Springs Hotel and was known as a man of many talents.

This house was purchased by Shrine Mont in 2004 from the Portlock family who acquired the property from the Stidley estate.

Stidley is located at the very east end of Shrine Mont just before the entrance into Orkney Springs.
