Home style cooking in the Southern tradition, served in abundance, is a hallmark of Shrine Mont’s gracious hospitality. A bell rings to announce meals served cafeteria style in Tucker Hall.

Meal Schedule
All three meals are included in the price of your lodging:
Breakfast – 8:00 AM
Lunch – 12:30 PM
Dinner – 5:30 PM
Additional meal rates
Breakfast – $14.00
Lunch – $17.00
Dinner – $19.00
Above rates do not include a state sales tax of 5.3% or a gratuity.
NON-RESIDENTIAL PARTICIPANTS
Non-residential participants in a retreat/conference will be charged for their meals, in addition to a conference charge of $30.00 per day.
Lodging and Sales Tax
Virginia Department of Taxation (quoting retail and sales and use tax regulations): “Exemption from the sales tax on meals and accommodations provided by hotels, motels, restaurants, etc., is very limited. The following persons are not exempt from sales tax on meals and accommodations provided by hotels, and motels, etc.: Non-profit charitable or religious organizations, churches or church groups . . . schools, colleges, and other institutions of learning . . . local governments . . . State Governments.”
