Fall Digital Photography Weekend
November 8-10, 2013.
This fall consider two different appoaches to seeing through the lens of your camera.
Digital Photography with Regula Franz
Regina Franz will work with participants at both the beginner and advanced level teaching them to use your digital
camera more effectively, the fundamentals of image capture and camera operation, proper exposure and use your flash. Daily assignments will allow participants to explore the Shrine Mont’s 1,100 acres photographically and then share images in class to help you troubleshoot and develop a creative eye.
Regula is a documentary photographer and instructor who holds a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts. For the past 10 years, she has been teaching classes in Digital and Travel Photography, as well as Fine Art Digital Printing at the VMFA Studio School and the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. Contemplative Photography with Teri Moy
Henri Cartier-Bresson wrote, “To take photographs means...putting
Teri has been photographing food, bellies, babies and children families and local and destination weddings for over a decade! “Photography is my life. It’s what I live and breathe. Every moment is history in the making. I consider it a privilege every time a family, or individual allows me to enter in their personal world and record who they are. Besides my faith, children and family - to me there is no greater joy.” She now resides in Leesburg, VA after spending a decade overseas. Before leaving she had her first solo exhibition in Singapore. Visit her website at www.terimoy.com
